How to connect two computers with a crossover cable?
Successully I made a crossover cable and both have been assigned to the working group sought to assign a IP address, but still not successful.
If two teams are not on the same network, it will not be able to connect to each other. Try give the following IP address and subnet masks: host 1 – host 2 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0 – 192.168.0.2 255.255.255.0 not set a gateway. Make sure they are in the same workgroup by going to System Properties (or "System" does not go to the computer name "tab"). Start off with both teams, join the working group, set ips, and reboot. Then, their respective computers should appear on my network places.
